🔟 Top 10 Tips & Tricks
1. Path Options You Should Always Check
Enable or disable features like Curved Slopes, Path Supports, Tunneling, Align to Grid, or Snap Along Barriers to customize every path section.
2. Creating Platforms with Align to Grid
Use the grid tool to make clean platforms, raised areas, or plazas — and combine with roof pieces to "hide" paths when needed.
3. Smooth Corners in Path Crossings
Right-clicking at path junctions removes sharp edges and creates smoother transitions — perfect for plazas or organic layouts.
4. Bridges With Smoother Slopes
Use CTRL to stop snapping and SHIFT to raise/lower paths freely. Combine with U/J keys or curved slope toggles to build natural bridges.
5. Stairs vs Slopes in Viewing Galleries
Distance affects angle: placing a path closer creates stairs, further away results in sloped transitions. Use Angle Snap for precision.
6. Round Viewing Platforms Made Easy
Use sharp-angle connections or soft curves (with Angle Snap) to create circular galleries or plazas with a clean central hole.
7. Using Null Fences for Total Freedom
Combine null fences with terrain or custom-built walls to replace standard barriers and blend paths more naturally into your zoo design.
8. Raised Grid Platforms
Duplicate raised path tiles using the grid tool for large flat areas — perfect for elevated exhibits or guest walkways.
9. Custom Path Supports
Replace default path supports with scenery like rocks, walls, or wood beams for a polished, hand-crafted look.
10. Very Round Viewing Galleries
Build extremely round plazas using short path angles with consistent snapping. Perfect for advanced layouts or underwater viewing zones.
